I think those are called gaucho pants. I know that I had some (not white - maybe purple) and I was afraid to wear them because no one else in school wore any. I probably eventually did wear them.
That's me on the left and the little one is my sister Juli. I just think some of Mom's clothes were interesting back then, so I've wanted to blog the photos for some time now. Mum was beautiful then and is beautiful now. Now she's also a second degree Tae Kwon Do black belt.
